The best way to choose fabric is to handle it. The shop is lined with cloth, and the swatch books stay on the table.

Specifications below come from the swatch books in the shop. Where a book doesn’t state something, neither do we.

Start with where you’ll wear it

A suit for Bangkok and a suit for a European winter shouldn’t be made from the same cloth. Tell us where and when you’ll wear the garment, and we’ll show you what makes sense.

Wool & suiting

Suiting in navy, charcoal, grey and brown, in plains, pinstripes, chalk stripes, checks and houndstooth. The swatch books on the table include a stretch suiting collection, labelled “Classic Comfort”, which is useful if you travel in your suit.

For wool, we carry merino for suits and trousers and cashmere for blazers and overcoats. What’s available changes with stock, so ask us what we have for your dates.

Linen

The obvious cloth for Bangkok. It breathes, it’s cool against the skin, and it creases in a way most people come to like. We have linen for shirts and for jackets, in neutrals and colours.

Irish linen is among the cloth we work with. Ask to see what’s in stock.

Chino
