Preparing for a tailoring consultation
Ten minutes of thinking before you arrive saves an hour in the shop.

The consultation is where you decide what to have made, choose the cloth and get measured. It goes faster, and the result is closer to what you want, if you’ve thought about a few things beforehand.
Know what the clothes are for
Work, a wedding, a move to a colder city, replacing a worn-out wardrobe. The purpose decides the cloth, the colour and the cut more than anything else.
Know your dates
When do you leave Bangkok? Everything is planned backwards from that: when to measure, when to fit, when the garments need to be finished. If you’re staying at a hotel and want the fitting there, tell us which one.
Bring references
- Photos of looks you like. Screenshots are fine.
- A garment that fits well, if you have one with you.
- The shoes you’ll wear with trousers or a skirt, for the length.
Think about budget and quantity
Our packages are priced up front, from $256 to $570, and shirts are 5,000 or 7,000 THB. If you want something else, ask for a price before you decide. Ordering fewer pieces in better-suited cloth is usually better than more pieces you’re unsure about.

Say how you like things to fit
Close or relaxed? Short jacket or longer? High-waisted trousers or low? There isn’t a right answer, but your tailor can’t guess it from measurements alone.
Can’t come to the shop? The same conversation works over WhatsApp. Send photos and your dates, and we’ll take it from there.
